NEXT WEEK IN ST. LEONARD’S CHURCH

On Sunday, 4th November, there is a service of Holy Communion at 11.15 am and collection of OCC shoe-boxes. Also, the annual  Memorial Service (All Saints) is at 5 pm in Holy Trinity Church.

On Tuesday, 6th   November, Jolly Tots meets from 9.15 – 11.30 am. and the  craft course resumes from 12.30 -2.30 pm for three weeks.

On Wednesday, 7th    November, Over 50s Coffee and Social Morning meets from 10 am to 12 noon with FREE “Rags and Ribbons” rug-making course. See the poster in the porch for more details.

On Thursday, 8th November, Knit and Natter meets from 1 – 3.30 pm.

NEXT SUNDAY: 11th November, the Remembrance Service starts at 10.45 am.

FURTHER AHEAD

On Saturday, 24th November, the Christmas Fair is from  2 – 4 pm. Can you please start collecting items to donate for the tombola, raffle, bric à brac stall, etc. Marg Churm asks for tombola items by 18th November, please. We need volunteers to get the church ready from 10 am, to run the stalls and bake cakes for sale. We are asking for your generosity with time and practical help. Many thanks in advance for your support in raising funds for the church.

On Tuesday, 27th November, Saltmine’s The Nutcracker is being performed in Dawley Christian Centre. Tickets £6.00 from Dave or Sharon.

Graham is now taking Autumn pickling orders: red cabbage & beetroot from £1.50 per jar, onions from £2 per jar and eggs from £2.50 per jar. Larger, bespoke jars are available on request.

He is also collecting clothes, shoes, belts, bags, CDs and books for recycling or resale to raise funds for the church and is appealing for unwanted or left-over Euros. All donations will be gratefully received.
