NEXT WEEK IN ST LEONARD’S CHURCH

On Sunday, 14th October, Morning Worship at 11.15 am. Also, Sing-along at Tea-time in George Chetwood Court at 4 pm. All welcome!

On Tuesday, 16th October, Jolly Tots meets from 9.15 – 11.30 am and  second session of six-week, FREE craft course in lino printing from 12.30 -2.30 pm. run by Learntelford, T&W Council.

Also, DCC meeting at 3 pm.

On Wednesday, 17th October,  Over 50s Coffee and Social Morning is from 10 am to 12 noon.

On Thursday, 18th October, Knit and Natter meets  from 1 – 3.30 pm.

On Friday, 19th October, “Dogs without Collars” Concert by Tim and friends! Starts at 7.30 pm in Dawley Town Hall. Tickets cost £6.50.

Further Ahead

The Operation Christmas Child collection will be on 4th November. Can you please collect suitable shoe-boxes and bring any spares to church.

Diary Note: Christmas Fair on 24th November, 2-4 pm. Can you please start collecting items to donate for the tombola, raffle, bric à brac stall, etc.?

Graham is now taking Autumn pickling orders: red cabbage & beetroot from £1.50 per jar, onions from £2 per jar and eggs from £2.50 per jar. Larger, bespoke jars are available on request.

He has also started again collecting clothes, shoes, belts, bags, CDs and books for recycling or resale to raise funds for the church. All donations will be gratefully received.
