NEXT WEEK IN ST LEONARD’S CHURCH

On Sunday, 12th March, there is a service of Morning Worship at 11 am and Messy Church at 3 pm.

On Tuesday, 14th March, Jolly Tots of Malinslee meets from 9 to11.30 am.

On Wednesday, 15th March, Over 50s Coffee and Social Morning meets from 10 am – 12 noon and there is Service in St John’s Church, Lawley, at 10 am.

On Thursday, 16th March, Knit and Natter meets from 1 pm – 3.30pm and the Lent Course continues at 7.00 pm in church. Please note corrected time.

On Saturday, 18th March, the church will be open from 10 am to 12 noon for private prayer, Bible study and meditation. Tea and coffee with toast will be on offer.

Also on Saturday, 18th March, there will be a Charity Concert in aid of Christians Against Poverty in All Saints Church, Wellington, TF1 1DN at 7.30 pm. Hadley and District Orpheus Male Voice Choir, Random Brass and others will be performing. Tickets cost £7.00 (concessions £5.00) and are available from Barry Church at 01952 254194 or barry_church@sky.com.

NEXT WEEK:  on Sunday, 19th March, there will be a service of Holy Communion  at 11 am.

FURTHER AHEAD

On Saturday, 25th March, there will be a Spring Concert by the Salvation Army, Lion Street, Oakengates. Admission is free but donations are welcomed.

On Sunday, 8th April, we will be doing our Easter Church Clean. Volunteers are wanted, please.

On Tuesday, 18th April, St Leonard’s Church AGM is at 7 pm .

On Saturday, 22nd April, the Spring Fair is at 2 pm, with setting up from 10 am.

On Sunday, 23rd April, the Easter Sing-along at Tea-time is at 4 pm in George Chetwood House, Dawley. (Please note change of venue.) All are welcome.
