On 27th November, Advent Sunday Morning Worship with Mike Duckett speaking and  Advent and Christmas Sing-along at Tea-time at 4 pm.

On Tuesday, 29th   November, Parent and Toddlers meet 9 am to 11 am.

On Wednesday, 30th    November:   Diocesan Event “Counting Sheep” from 10 am – 12 noon and Service in St John’s Church at 10 am.

Also, Saltmine Theatre: “The Night before Christmas” at 6.30 pm.

On Thursday, 1st December, Knit and Natter meets from 1-3.30 pm.

On Saturday, 3rd December, Christmas Fair is from 2 pm.  We would be grateful for raffle prizes, cakes to sell and help on the day, starting with setting up at 10 am.

NEXT WEEK:  On Sunday, Advent 2, 4th December, there is a service of Holy Communion with Rev. Roger Balkwill, at 11 am.


On Wednesday, 7th December, Christmas Experience for children is from 9.30 – 12 noon. Also, Singing for Fun Christmas Celebration  at 7.30 pm with mince pies and port.

On Sunday 11th December – Messy Church will be re-launched from 3pm – 5 pm. If you can help with explaining the story behind the crafts or if you have a Food Hygiene Certificate and can help prepare the food please speak to Jane.

See Graham, to order pickled onions and eggs, both at £2 a jar, and beetroot, at £1 a jar, or to negotiate larger jars. Also, unwanted books, CDs, DVDs, bags, belts, shoes and clothes are wanted to sell for  church funds.

Please Note: the Vincent De Paul box will be emptied on 10th December for making up Christmas hampers. If you can, please  put in something Christmassy as it will make all the difference to people who have so little.
