On Sunday, 6th November, there is a Service of Holy Communion and OCC Shoe-box Blessing with Rev. Roger Balkwill at 11 am.

Also, the service to celebrate the First Anniversary of Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is at 6.30 pm. Tea or coffee and cakes will follow the service.

On Tuesday, 8th  November, Parent and Toddlers meet from 9 am to 11 am.

On Wednesday, 9th  November, the  Over 50’s Social and Coffee Morning is from  10 am – 12 noon and there is a Service in St John’s Church at 10 am.

On Thursday, 10th  November, Knit and Natter meets from 1 – 3.30 pm.

On Thursday, 10th November, Together for the Kingdom is from 6 pm in All Saints Church, Wellington. This service Includes commissioning for the new Mission Enabler, Rev. Chris Densham and licensing of Rev. Tim Storey as Area Dean for Telford.

Next week: on Sunday, 13th November, there is a Service of Remembrance at 11 am.


On Saturday, 26th November, St John’s Church, Lawley, is holding their Christmas Fair from 12-3 pm.

On Sunday, 27th November, there is the annual Advent Sing-along at 4 pm.

Watch out for the final date for the Christmas Experience for children which will be either Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, 30th November or 1st December.

On Saturday, 3rd December, St Leonard’s Christmas Fair starts at 2 pm.

It’s now time to order your pickled onions and eggs, both at £2 a jar and beetroot, at £1 a jar, from Graham. Larger jars are available by negotiation. Also any books, CDs, DVDs, bags, belts, shoes and clothes you no longer want can be sold to boost church funds. Contact Graham.
