This Week:

Sunday 14th February: There will be NO SERVICE in St Leonard’s Church. We join the parish in Christ the King Chapel at 10.30 am for the licensing of Pam Spellen as Children and Families enabler.

Also on that day:

Messy Church is celebrating their 2nd Anniversary here at the church. It’s a free event and your invited! To offer, they have crafts, storytelling, games, worship time and a meal at the end. Want to know more? Just see or email Jane Hill on janie317@sky.com.

Tuesday 16th February: Parent and Toddlers meet from 9 am -11 am.

Wednesday 17th February: The DCC meets at 7 pm in the church.

Thursday 18th February: There is a social morning from 10 am – 12 noon for over 50’s living in Malinslee and Dawley, run by Jane Hill. On offer are crafts, woodwork, card and board games, etc., with tea or coffee and cake.

Also on that day:

Knit and Natter meets from 1 – 3.30 pm.


Next Week:

Sunday 21st February: There will be a service of Morning Prayer, lay-led but with Rev Lee Plummer speaking.


Advance Notices:

Does anyone have an active Ebay account we could use to sell items for church? Please contact Graham Bould if you are willing to help.

At Harvest we asked people to donate their talents, for example, painting, cleaning, etc. We particularly need help with painting and maintenance. If anyone can help please let John Chetwood know.

Sunday 28th February: And every last Sunday in the month, Praise, Worship & Prayer from 6.30pm – 8.00pm in Chapel of Christ the King, Meeting Point House.

Open Church starts again on 5th March. The church will be open from 10 am to 12 noon for private prayer, meditation and Bible study.

Our date for the Annual General Meeting of St Leonard’s church is now 5th April, 2016. If you run any groups or activities in church, can you please start thinking about your annual reports so that they can be given to Julie by 22nd March at the latest to allow for duplication.

Wednesday 25th May: At 7.30pm, there will be a Licensing Service for Rev. John Jukes in St Leonard’s Church with refreshments afterwards.
