Holy Week and Easter Service and events

Holy Week and Easter Service:

Maundy Thursday – 28th March –

5.30pm Communion service… On the night before He died Jesus had a meal with his friends… we remember that last Supper in a quiet reflective communion service.

For Good Friday – 29th

Walk of Witness at 9.30am.

We leave St. Leonard’s for the traditional ‘Walk of Witness’ to Dawley Centre, where we meet together with Christians from churches across the local area to worship together. A short devotional service takes place at 10.30am at St Paul’s Roman Catholic church. And then there is a main closing service at Dawley Christian Centre at 11am.

‘Time to consider’

From 2pm til 3pm. Commonly called the ‘last hour’. As we meet we remember again the events of Good Friday, through prayers and readings from the Bible.

And for Easter Sunday worship…

Dawn Service in Town Park at 6.30am.

As local churches, we meet at the Telford Town Park Bandstand for a dawn service of Holy Communion. Always a special service. Wrap up warm though!

On Sunday 31st, at 11am, this will be an Easter service for all members of the family. A family Communion as we celebrate that Jesus was raised from the dead.

Easter Holiday Club!

We are hosting another of our popular Easter holiday clubs on Wednesday 3rd April. It will have craft activities, drama, refreshments and games. For children aged 5-11 years old.

Free entrance but parents do need to register their child before they are dropped off. It will run the entire morning. For more information contact Mrs Jolanda Crowe, 01952 501655
