Services

Our Sunday services each begin at 11am, and we have three types.
Holy Communion
Every Sunday except for the second Sunday, our worship is a Communion Service.
How to describe it? We use Anglican / Church of England liturgy. We would sing mostly traditional hymns supported by an organ. The service involves hymn books and service booklets, but from increasingly we use  a data projector.
There is a great children’s group – Sunday Club -during the service. In fact this begins at 11am. The children rejoin their families for the communion which is during the closing 20 or so minutes.  After our worship together, there are refreshments for those who can stop and stay.
Baptisms
We are a popular church for children being brought for baptism.
We encourage any couples interested in having their child being baptised to come to one of our services to book. There is more information elsewhere on this website.
There is a baptism service, each month, on the 2nd Sunday – except during November. Again, there is tea and Coffee for all who are able to stay.
Family Service.
But as we mentioned, three types we offer across Sundays…
We will be starting a serious of Family Friendly Morning Services in 2012, with the first one on the last Sunday of January.  These services will be every 3-4 months, during April, July, September and December. This website will have more specific information nearer the time.
Midweek
Once a month
First Wednesday of each month, at 9am, in church, we have a short, quiet reflective communion service.  It lasts 40 minutes.
Upcoming services?
Always a good question! We have established our Sing along a tea time every four months… More to come… Things on the go – watch this space! But as we mentioned, three types – we will be starting a serious of Family Friendly Morning Services in 2012, with the first one on the last Sunday of January. These services will be every 3-4 months…
